This kit comes with a recipe for making traditional Japanese-style miso paste. The total yield is approximately 2kg of miso, and it will be ready to use after around 4–6 months of natural fermentation.
Making miso at home is a simple and rewarding fermentation process. Preparation time is approximately 30–60 minutes, after which the miso is left to mature and develop deep flavour over time.
