ENOKIDO Brown Rice Miso is our signature everyday miso, handmade in Sydney using 100% organically grown Australian ingredients. It has a deep, full-bodied flavour with rich umami and gentle natural sweetness from fermentation.
This miso is ideal for making classic miso soup, ramen, broths and daily cooking. Its balanced flavour also makes it suitable for sauces, marinades and dressings.
Our brown rice miso is high in protein, vegan-friendly, gluten free, non-GMO and unpasteurised, providing a natural source of live cultures.
As this miso is naturally fermented and unpasteurised, for online orders we use a special breathable food-grade bag with a valve to allow it to continue maturing. On rare occasions, some liquid from the miso may leak from the valve during transit.
