ENOKIDO Honey Miso is inspired by the classic Japanese dish Nasu Dengaku (grilled eggplant with sweet miso). It is a rich, savoury-sweet miso glaze, handmade in Sydney using 100% organically grown Australian ingredients.

This miso is not intended for soup. It is ideal for glazing and caramelising vegetables such as eggplant, pumpkin, sweet potato and tofu. It can also be used as a marinade for fish or meat, mixed into dressings, or enjoyed as a savoury-sweet condiment.

Our honey miso is gluten free, non-GMO and unpasteurised, providing a natural source of live cultures.

As this product is naturally fermented and unpasteurised, online orders are packed in a special breathable food-grade bag with a valve to allow the product to continue maturing. Please note that honey miso is more prone to leakage from the valve during transit due to its texture.
