ENOKIDO Chickpea Miso is a naturally fermented, soy-free miso made using organic Australian chickpeas and brown rice koji. It offers a mild, creamy flavour with gentle umami, making it an excellent alternative to traditional soybean miso.
This miso is suitable for a wide range of uses, including soups, sauces, dressings and marinades. Its softer flavour makes it especially versatile for modern cooking and plant-based dishes.
Our chickpea miso is high in protein, vegan-friendly, gluten free, non-GMO and unpasteurised, providing a natural source of live cultures.
As this miso is naturally fermented and unpasteurised, online orders are packed in a special breathable food-grade bag with a valve to allow the product to continue maturing. On rare occasions, a small amount of liquid may escape during transit.
