ENOKIDO Buckwheat Miso is a naturally fermented miso handmade in Sydney using 100% organically grown Australian ingredients. It has a deep, earthy flavour with rich umami and a slightly nutty character, offering a unique alternative to rice-based miso.
This miso is suitable for soups, sauces, dressings and hearty cooking. Its robust flavour makes it especially well suited to winter dishes, vegetable broths, mushroom-based recipes and plant-based stews.
Our buckwheat miso is high in protein, gluten free, vegan-friendly, non-GMO and unpasteurised, providing a natural source of live cultures.
As our miso is naturally fermented and unpasteurised, for online orders we use a special breathable food-grade bag with a valve to allow it to continue maturing. On rare occasions, some liquid from the miso may leak from the valve during transit.
